Theater has been a passion of mine since high school and I've recently performed in some local productions. When I heard the Pennington Players were doing a production of American Idiot, I reached out to the director about creating a standalone website for the production to help promote it across the web and social media.

When researching a new Broadway show, the first thing I do is visit their website. The URLs are often just the show's name, making them easy to remember. The layouts tend to be simple with a straightforward purpose – sell tickets, merchandise, and provide pertinent information about the show and its venue. Skinned in colors and graphics that match the show's promotional campaign, these websites are a one-stop shop resource for potential audience members.

Thinking about this and seeing a potential opportunity, I reached out to the director to see if he'd be interested in collaborating. With some wonderful cast photography provided by him, I was able to put up a website for the cast and crew to easily share with friends, family and the community. With an easy-to-remember URL and a bright call to action, we were able to really spread the word and sell out multiple performances.
